Coding With Python - Beginner Level

Students will learn the basics of Python coding using a free online tool.

Required Items: 
* Computer
* Free PythonAnywhere.com account - https://www.pythonanywhere.com/

Weekly session topics will be learner-dictated at the start of each class.

Each week the students will pick a topic to explore at the beginning of the class. Some of the topics students may choose to learn about include the following:
- Different versions of Python, Python shell and editor
- Numbers, variables and For Loops. 
- Strings, Lists and Dictionaries
- Modules, Classes and Methods
- Retrieving content from the internet
- Reading and writing data to files

*Please note, grades (letter/percentage) are not issued for this course.

For interaction: Students will work live in a pythonanywhere.com session shared with the teacher. Students will ask each other questions and be able to give tips and demonstrations to explore new and innovative ways to code in Python. Students can post screenshots in the classroom to receive feedback from me as well as other students. The more we share, the more we will learn. I will be checking the classroom every Monday and Thursday to give feedback and to answer questions.
