Description
Class Experience
In this one-hour one-time class students who have taken Coding for Beginners with me will learn more complex coding. Students will use Scratch to code as I help them. Students will learn to customize their sprites, backgrounds, sounds, and more! They will also learn some tricks and tips to use in their projects. During class, students will need a free scratch account so they can save their work. A computer is the best choice for coding in this class. I am happy to offer private sections if...
Students will be able to make their own projects in their free time with advanced block coding knowledge.
I have taught coding in my own middle school Science class for the last few years. I also helped my county run a technology fair and helped to teach coding to at least 300 kids during that time.

In this class, we will use Sractch.mit.edu to code. In this class, we will use Screen Share so I can show students my coding page and so I can see their screens to help them code. In this class, we will use Kahoot.com to end class and check for comprehension.
