Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn to program using commands like loops and events. The lessons featured in this course also teach students to collaborate with others meaningfully, investigate different problem-solving techniques, persist in the face of difficult tasks, and learn about internet safety. By the end of this course, students create their very own custom game or story from Play Lab that they can share.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Parental guidance is needed to make an account with Code.org. During plugged-in lessons, students need to log into code.org which may require parental support. These asks will be modeled through screen share.
