Description
Class Experience
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to: -Access the VEX virtual robotics platform on the web. -Use loops to program a VEX robot. -Use Coding blocks and think critically to take steps to debug their code and solve robot programming problems.
None required
Students will attend class on a device (can be a phone or tablet) and work on a laptop or desktop computer. Student may also work on side by side browser windows on one computer. Students will need to use CHROME or FIREFOX. Internet Explorer does not support the robotics platform where we will code. No downloads will be necessary. We will work on a web based system.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents can help kids setup their computer screen with side by side web browsers or have a separate device (laptop or desktop) to code.
