Description

Class Experience

This class is designed for students who are totally new to coding and those who’ve already had an introduction. Student of all levels will find plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves and experiment with new concepts, but absolutely no prior experience is required. We’ll cover the coding fundamentals, build digital art projects and games, and hopefully have a lot of fun!

Each day in this five-day class will follow a similar structure. We’ll start by discussing a question that leads...

Students should have a solid conceptual understanding of how to use variables, different data types, functions, if-statements, and while-loops

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Codepen

7 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

To make setup as easy as possible, we will use Codepen for writing and running code. Prior to the first lesson, I will send instructions for how to get started and how to set up a free account. If you'd prefer to use another online coding environment, feel free to reach out and I'll try to find a way to make that work.
