Description

Class Experience

I have completed both the beginning and advanced teacher training courses for elementary teachers, that are offered directly from the code.org organization. I also have previous experience teaching this content to second and third grade students.
Students will need to have access to the code.org website while also participating in the class meeting. This can be done by using a separate device for code.org, or knowing how to switch between tabs on their web browser. A separate device is recommended so they are able to see both at once, but is not required. Students will need to know how to access code.org and log in to the program before the start of class. Directions for this, and the "teacher's section code" will be sent to you after registration.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses Code.org.
