Class Experience

BlocksCAD is a Computer-Aided Drafting platform designed specifically for kids! Students use blocks-based coding and math skills to create and design 3D objects. In this class, students will follow along with our instructor, Alaina, to learn about the foundations of coding and the geometric shapes that will be needed to design a dapper little turkey, with a top hat. No prior coding experience is necessary.

Students will learn:

Students will need to bring an Internet-accessible device to the class session (laptop, MacBook, iPad, or Chromebook). The device should have an Internet browser that is compatible with BlocksCAD (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox).

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:BlocksCAD

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
