Welcome to the Scratch Fidget Spinner Coding Workshop! In this exciting and hands-on class, students will embark on a creative journey to design and program their very own interactive fidget spinners using Scratch, a beginner-friendly visual programming language. This class is perfect for aspiring young coders, ages 10 and up, who are interested in combining their love for coding with the fun and popular fidget spinner craze.

Class Objectives:

Introduction to Scratch: Students will be introduced to the Scratch platform, learning the basics of its user-friendly interface, including how to create and manage projects.

Understanding Fidget Spinners: We'll begin by exploring the physics and mechanics behind fidget spinners, discussing the various components that make them spin.

Creative Design: Students will unleash their creativity by designing their unique fidget spinner sprites and backgrounds, allowing them to personalize their projects.

Coding Fundamentals: The class will cover fundamental coding concepts such as variables, loops, and conditionals, necessary for creating interactive fidget spinners.

Animating Spinners: Participants will learn how to animate their fidget spinners, making them spin realistically on the screen using code.

Interactive Features: Students will enhance their projects by adding interactive elements like sound effects, speed controls, and customization options.

Challenges and Problem Solving: Throughout the class, students will be presented with coding challenges and encouraged to use their problem-solving skills to find solutions.
