I received my Bachelor of Science in Education in 2013 from State University of New York at Cortland (SUNY Cortland). I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Physical Education Department with certifications in Physical Education (grades K-12), health education, adapted physical education, and coaching. In 2016, I received my Master of Science from Emporia State University by graduating top of my class from the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department with a 4.0 GPA. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid (American Red Cross) and Heads Up Concussion Training. After graduating in 2013, I began teaching K-5 Elementary Physical Education. As the head of the department, I am responsible for teaching six classes each day that consist of 25+ students. In addition, I create innovative curriculum for the entire school encompassing topics such as physical education, health education, fitness, nutrition, wellness, mindfulness, and character education to name a few. Besides teaching PE, I run the Y Workout Community Family Fitness Boot Camp Program, Y BB Academy Private Individualized Basketball School, and Y Basketball Academy Summer Co-ed Basketball Camps. In addition, I provide life coaching and mentoring to student-athletes as I help them reach their full potential in sports, school, and life.
