Come join the fun! In this 30-minute Physical Education course, students will participate in activities that are creative, stimulating, and engaging. The activities will include motor skills, spatial awareness, coordination, dance, and/or other sport skills. The class will be fun, interactive, and a positive experience. Modifications will be made for all ages, skills, and ability levels. The only supplies needed are sneakers, a water bottle, and a space to be active. First, we will warm up with a fun team building activity which will include dynamic stretching and mindful breathing techniques. The main portion of the lesson will be invigorating activities that will encompass a variety of fundamental physical education skills. These foundational building blocks will help learners develop their physical skills while increasing their confidence. Finally, class will end with a cool down consisting of light static stretching and mindful breathing to relax our bodies. During this time, students will be given the opportunity to socialize as we reflect on the day’s lesson. My goal is to create physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, confidence, and skill to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity. It is important for children to move their bodies for improved physical health, mental health, and academic performance. Words of encouragement, positive feedback, and upbeat music will ensure each child has a fun, rewarding experience while becoming more physically fit.
Learning Goals
Psychomotor Domain - The students will learn how to use proper form to the best of their ability while participating in the class activities.

Cognitive Domain - The students will learn how to verbalize the building blocks of fitness (strength, cardio, social skills, coordination, flexibility) while participating in the class activities.
