In "Cluck and Code: An Introduction to HTML with Chickens," students will thoroughly understand HTML and CSS, the foundational technologies behind web development.
We will first get things set up and read to code. Students will explore the structure of an HTML document, including essential tags such as <html>, <head>, and <body>. This lesson introduces the foundational elements required to begin crafting web pages.
In this lesson, students will learn how to use text formatting tags like headers, paragraphs, and lists. They will apply these elements to organize information effectively on a page, enhancing readability and structure.
This session teaches students how to enrich their web pages with images and hyperlinks. They will practice adding pictures of chickens and linking to more information, thus making their web content interactive and engaging.
Students will learn to create and manipulate tables for organizing data neatly on their web pages. They will also be introduced to HTML forms, which are essential for gathering user inputs, such as feedback on their chicken-themed content.
