Come join other learners while we have a hip, hip, hooray time with Club Fiona!! Each session we will have a great time doing a variety of activities focused on the portly Princess, Fiona. This class will have a large variety of activities that will change week to week based on the Some of the examples of activities will be craft projects, family tree projects, writing activities, stories, etc. Please see below for each specific week theme. Week 1/July 29: story-read aloud Week 2/August 5: family tree (We will be making a family tree of Fiona's family and where they live) Week 3/August 12: hippo information week (we'll use slides to talk about hippo information using adaptations, diets, fun facts, etc) Week 4/August 19: Conservation plans and what HIPPO means Week 5/August 26: hippo craft or zoo craft/activity Week 6/September 2: learner choice (this week learners will get to suggest an activity the previous week and we will take a class vote on week 5 meeting) **After 6 week the class will start over with the materials
Learning Goals
Learners will work on soft skills such as taking turns, patience, etc.
Learners will learn about conservation and hippos.

This class will have a variety of activities so all learners will have an opportunity to participate at a level that is comfortable for them.
Parental Guidance
Occasionally learners may need to use scissors, glue, etc. please supervise your learner as needed.

Bachelor's Degree in Education from Ball state university
I am an in person educator with over ten years experience in person, online, and working at an AZA zoo in the education department.
