Description

Class Experience

In this one time class, students will learn about 5 types of clouds: nimbus, cirrostratus, cirrocumulus, nimbostratus and stratonimbus. The student will learn how to identify the different type, altitude information, and the weather associated with each type of cloud. It is my goal to help students become more knowledgeable in what happens in the skies above us.  This course will include a trivia style review and an activity, a puffy cloud painting of one type or all five types they learn...

Supplies needed for the activity: 
Shaving Cream, white glue, a small bowl, paint brush and a piece of blue construction paper.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

The activity in this course uses shaving cream and white school glue. Children may need assistance. Alternatively, students may use white paint instead.
