Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! In this enrichment class, your scholar will cover Common Core standards within middle school math. Students can join in at any time and get supplemental instruction to help in their understanding. Scholars can expect to learn material in an interactive way, and participation is highly encouraged as this helps me ensure they are retaining the material. Every scholar will be given the opportunity to participate in a way that's comfortable for them. Once topics are introduced, scholars can expect to have problems modeled for them, and have a chance for independent practice to check for understanding. Each week, scholars will have ONE session. Pre-Requisites
Scholars should have an understanding of 5th grade math before enrolling.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a National Board Certified teacher with a K-12 certification for math. I possess a Master's degree in Education and am certified in Executive Functioning, Math Intervention, Literacy Intervention and in Learning Differences. I enjoy using various tools and strategies to encourage learning for a variety of learning styles.
