During this course, students will learn how to read closely (at the middle school level) using engaging non-fiction articles about interesting scenarios, animals, and situations. #academic Each week, we will first discuss/review what it means to complete a close read of the text. Students will improve their understanding of close reading a text and will learn strategies for correctly answering text-based questions.
I have been teaching middle school Reading and Language Arts for more than 19 years. I specialize in reading skills/strategies, step by step writing instruction, and working with students at their own individual levels.
