Join me and learn about Climate Change while practicing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Students will learn about Climate Change and environmental issues that affect our planet, Students will be encouraged to share their points of view, reading comprehension skills with writing links. Each child will receive differentiated homework and encouraged to do some further research which I will then grade / mark and send back. Lessons focus on a different aspect of Climate change / environmental issues. We will look at a selection of climate change topics, students are welcome to join more than one lesson as each time, students will decide on which one to focus on: * What is climate change? * The consequences of climate change * Fossil fuels * Animals and climate change * Deforestation * Oil spills * Global warming * Landfills * Coral reef bleaching * Water shortages * Droughts and much more! What approximate reading level is this class aimed at? * Children will need to be able to read chapter books. * There will be opportunities to read aloud and speak in the group - if your child is not comfortable doing this, not to worry, they can express their opinion or complete the activities after the lesson. Children will also be encourage to write or present their ideas in a presentation or video as homework.

Parental Guidance
In order to access some of the resources you will need to have access to Youtube. You will not need to have a Youtube account and the links will be sent through the. Outschool platform. Children will need to be supervised when watching Youtube videos,
