This is a two-day course focusing on literacy skills: reading comprehension and persuasive letter writing. Week One: For the first few minutes of class, we will introduce ourselves to each other. Then, students will take a picture walk through the book and make predictions about what we think will happen. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. I have 10 years of experience teaching elementary school, grades 2-5, in all subjects. I love interacting and reading with my students and helping them make connections with what they are reading.
There is an optional crossword puzzle that goes with the story the student may complete after class.
