Description
Class Experience
Students will discover where on a map of the world 4 of natures most tough and clever survivors live. They will learn about the clever ways they have evolved to avoid being eaten by other animals. They will also find out where in the world 4 of their animal cousins, commonly kept as pets originate from. They will learn to identify a mammal, a reptile, & amphibian as well as carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
During the class we will be using some of the Deadly 60 books from the BBC children's natural history series. There is no need for students to have seen the TV series or read the books to enjoy and access the class. They are great books and programmes for young animal lovers though.
