In this one time course, students will learn about keeping their teeth clean through a hands on science experiment. Throughout this class, we will follow the scientific method including doing research to learn why types of liquids cause staining and acid build up on our teeth and what we can do about it. 0The day before class, please hard boil 3 eggs and put one into a glass of water, one into a cup of coffee or dark soda, and one into a cup of a liquid of your choice (pickle juice, fruit juice, light soda, tea). Bring all three eggs to class the next day, along with a toothbrush and toothpaste!
