Class experience
This class is an ongoing format. Students will sculpt a new figurine every week. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. Students can join or leave the series any week. Teacher Jessica is a graduate fine art artist from California State Fullerton University with her concentration in Illustration and Art Education. She has received professional training on figure drawing and portraiture. Her passion in theatrical and costume design and the entertainment industry in general has contributed to an innovative approach in her teaching as well as inspired many students that she met in her classes. She promotes artistic freedom and confidence in her teaching approach while bonding with her students, creating special invaluable relationships with her lively interaction and natural charisma.
Playdough or model magic clay (If you get the plain white, you will need to mix paint into the white clay to make other colors. If your learner is on the younger end, it is recommended that you prepare the clay before class. You may want to get three primary colors (red, yellow and blue) plus the white and black. You can pre-make other colors like green, purple, orange, brown by mixing the primary colors before class, so that your learner has all colors ready for use while following along with the instructor.)
