In this class, students will learn about the life of the artist Picasso and how he created his Cubist-styled art. Wanting to capture the 3-D world around him, he created his own art style and it impacted the world. Students will create their own Picasso inspired face using clay. During the class, students are encouraged to talk to the teacher and other students. If students need assistance, they are encouraged to raise their hand. Students are encouraged to share their progress with the teacher and share final art piece with the class. Recordings are made available after the class for students to refer back for review.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am an illustrator, artist, teacher, business owner, and a pug mom. I have a degree in Illustration, a visual art minor with 20 years of teaching experience. I believe that knowledge is power and the more you know the greater your influence can be. Learning should be fun and individual. Even when my students are looking at the same picture for painting class, their work is very individual and unique to them and I love that part of the creative process. We are all learners and we should celebrate each other on the Journey!
