Students will learn the art of slab clay work. Rolling clay to a uniform thickness. Cutting into and texturing the clay surface. Using scoring and slip to add additional features securely.
As we are working with air drying clay which takes around 24 hours to dry, the decorating will take place after class. Ideas and suggestions will be given in class.
