Oogie Boogie is a burlap sack filled with insects, spiders and a snake for a tongue. We will be sculpting a spooky Oogie Boogie Character from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The clay will air-dry, so no baking is needed. The supplies are listed to produce the effect as shown. Students may work on a larger or smaller scale. Students may paint their sculpture after it is fully dried or pre-color their clay using acrylic paint. This is meant for indoor use only, unless you seal it...
This class is taught in English.
It's best to prepare the learner's surface with wax paper or parchment baking paper, as the clay may stick. Air-Dry Clay in White Cutting tool Basic sculpting tools, or toothpick and plastic knife Wax paper or Parchment baking paper Aluminum Foil cup of water Acrylic paint in green and black (painting details will not be done in class, as the clay needs to fully dry) Wet wipes are handy for students using air dry clay.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
