Description

Class Experience

This ongoing club will be the continuation of my other popular literature courses and will include selections from Aesop's Fables, Just So Stories, Fifty Famous Stories, fairy tales from various collections, including the Blue Fairy Book and Grimm's Fairy Tales, and classic tall tales. The students are encouraged to share their favorite classic short stories for the teacher to include in a club time, too!

As a Charlotte Mason inspired educator, I enjoy introducing classic literature to students.

Classroom participation between class is optional but encouraged to build interest in literature, illustration, and writing, and also foster friendships with like-minded students.

The teacher will provide a drawing and copywork page. Students should bring writing and drawing utensils of their choice.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Classic literature may include occasions of violence and death. If your learner is especially sensitive, please send me a message so I can prepare selections accordingly.
