Description

Class Experience

This is a course designed to have students learn about irony and plot twists in classic literature.  This first of the series being offered is an in-depth look at Kate Chopin's "Story of an Hour."  In session one, after introduction, we will read the text together and discuss the shock of the ending. Students will deepen their understanding of irony in literature as well as further developing the skill of character analysis, writing  commentary and identifying the use of imagery in literature.

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
