In this course, students will explore the musical styles, genres, composers, pieces, sounds and ideas that make each classal musical era unique: Ancient Times, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th century.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about the musical styles, genres, composers, pieces, sounds, and ideas that make each era of music history unique.
I highly recommend that students listen to my "Suggested Listening Examples" for each time period. This will help students apply the ideas and concepts that we go over during the week.
I will provide all necessary class materials (no purchase necessary) including study guides, listening suggestions, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal analysis and discussions.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
