Let's Explore our Emotions through classical music. Each week will begin with introductions of learners, as well as a new classical music artist. We will learn about the Musician - where they lived, their era, the song they were best known for etc., Learners will then listen to various songs by this artist while doodling or drawing using various mediums. After each song, we will discuss the emotions we felt during the song as well as share what those emotions led us to do in our art. Classical music offers so much insight into ourselves as well as the artist, and this class is a wonderful opportunity for learners to become in tune with these feelings. Week 1: Johannes Brahms 1833–1897 Week 2: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 1756–1791 Week 3: Antonio Vivaldi 1678–1741 Week 4: Ludwig van Beethoven 1770–1827 Week 5: Frédéric Chopin Week 6: Johann Sebastian Bach Week 7: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky **This is Part 1 of this class - once completed learners are welcome to move on to Part 2
