I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university, online, or private tutoring sector. I have a business communication degree, a writing minor, and a teaching certificate. I have a dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning. I am a mental health workshop facilitator which provides resiliency skills to kids through games, role-playing, crafts, and Socratic group discussions. I've taken writer's notebook workshops and have years of classroom experience implementing this in my classroom and tutoring sessions. I've created multiple writing lessons that utilize a variety of techniques to help students become lifelong writers. I love to read mysteries, do crosswords and play my favorite apps Monument Valley and Clue. Teacher Reviews for this class: It was so great to see the children encouraged to speak and work as a team. You are a terrific facilitator. (Name) loved the class and is really hoping you do another one soon! He loved how you kept the kids involved as he is usually shy in group environments.
