Description
Class Experience
In this ongoing, intermediate, cake decorating course, we’ll cover one piped decorating element or flower each week. This way, learners will have plenty of time to master each element before moving on to the next one. Piping icing never goes out of style! In fact piped icing flowers are making a huge comeback! Learners will learn 19 different cake decorating elements, leaves and flowers.
Learners will need to make some type of decorator’s frosting for each class and prepare their pastry bags with it before class starts. I'll be jumping right into the content when the class starts. Learners will need to practice all elements, leaves and flowers between classes in order to master them. Like anything they do take practice to master.
A supply list will be given upon enrollment.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Your learner may need help using an electric mixer to make frosting. I may or may not be giving extra Youtube video links to learners to inspire them with other cake decorators.
