HELLO! I’m Ms. Mumma, pronounced Mum ‘ah.

The key to effective teaching is not solely about imparting knowledge, but about creating an environment where students feel valued, supported, and cared for, which in turn enables them to learn and grow. I'm a firm believer that Learning Environments Accelerate Foundations and will work to build that strong foundation for your learners.

WHAT I TEACH:
I teach English Language Arts Classes to Elementary and Middle School Students. I teach reading, writing, grammar, spelling, novel studies, literature, and much more. I also teach English as a Second Language Classes to Students of all ages. These classes focus on reading, writing, speaking, and vocabulary. Some of my classes include

🍏 HOMESCHOOL CLASSES
🍏 WRITING CLASSES
🍏 READING INTENSIVE CLASSES
🍏 GROUP TUTORING CLASSES
🍏 PERSONALIZED TUTORING COURSES
🍏 ESL CLASSES
🍏 LIFE SKILLS

MY QUALIFICATIONS:
I have a BS and an AS in Education. I have taught for many years in numerous settings. I started in the traditional classroom setting. I have homeschooled my own children. A few years ago, I started teaching at district level in my ( Southern) area of the United States. ( You'll know when I speak WINK). I, now, look forward to teaching on outschool.

WHO AM I:
As a teacher I believe that we should provide students with the skills and opportunity to learn and grow. I think that students are more apt to care what you know, when they know that you care and I hope that I live that philosophy out in my classroom. I am excited about teaching and passionate to guide students learning.

Personally, I absolutely love reading. There is a book by Dr Suess that really does so much more than entertain. It is called " Oh, the Places You Will Go." This book truely sets people of all ages up for success! While there are many quotes I could pull from this fabulous writing, my favorite is “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” - This quote emphasizes the idea of self-direction and the ability to choose your own path. I hope my guidance leads others to develop the confidence to choose the right path for them.

WHY CHOOSE MY CLASSES?

With the right training, a positive learning environment, and a classroom dedicated to developing the whole child, you just about can't go wrong. But, why should you choose my classes?

This is why you should CHOOSE MY CLASS; I understand that children learn best when they feel valued and supported. My approach ensures that every child feels seen, heard, and encouraged to express their unique and true selves. I am not simply teaching a class full of students. I am teaching your child. After some time with your child, I will be better able to meet his or her needs in the classroom by understanding his or her learning style. I will be able to engage your child, build upon their strengths, and foster a rigorous learning environment blended with fun and Individual personality. My classes are engaging. They take into account the individual needs of students and support them.
