Class Mini: Draw a Marvelous Mushroom House

Let's have fun drawing a mushroom house together!

In this class, young artists will be led through a step-by-step drawing of a three-dimensional mushroom house.  As we draw, learners will be introduced to a variety of shapes including: oval, circle, and cylinder.  We will discuss many different ways to add creative details.  Does your mushroom house have spots?  Is there a window box?  Who lives in your mushroom house?  Is there tall grass or flowers surrounding your mushroom house? These are just a few of the details we will be discussing throughout the 20 minute lesson.

You only need a pencil and a piece of paper for this lesson, but you are also welcome to bring crayons, markers, or colored pencils.  My goal is to help each artist create a unique outline of a mushroom house with a few surrounding details.

*Please ensure that your learner enters the classroom on time, and is prepared with a piece of paper and a pencil.  We begin drawing steps right away.

*Students are welcome to color their drawings in class, however most students will probably want to color their drawings after the class time is over.  I draw with a pencil throughout the entire lesson.
