This eight week class will be a continuation of Class Guitar for Beginners, Level 7. Student progress will differ according to the amount of practice, prior musical knowledge, ect…Students will review what we learned in Classes 1-7 and then learn how to read music, play melodies, and play chords in the keys of A. Through reading guitar sheet music and playing the guitar, students gain musical knowledge that is beneficial for learning other instruments as well as listening to music with an...
In Intro to Guitar for Beginners, Class 8, we will learn how to play arpeggios on the guitar. We will concentrate strumming and playing melodies.
Homework will include a minimum of 30 minutes a day.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
An informal assessment will be sent out. If you would like a letter grade or written report please send me a message.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
All materials will be provided by pdf files.
