Clarinet Boot Camp -- Level up Your Playing in Just One Week!

Join us for a fun and focused week of clarinet playing! This camp helps young clarinetists strengthen skills, build confidence, and experience playing with others in a supportive group setting.

⭐️ Boot Camp runs Monday to Friday (60 minute class each day) ⭐️
⭐️ Each day we build on the skills we worked on from the previous day ⭐️

🗓️ Week 2 -- June 16 - 20
🗓️ Week 3 -- June 23 - 27

5-Day Weekly Schedule:

🎉 Day 1: Kickoff & Camp Spirit
– Welcome, introductions, guidelines & ice-breakers
–  Long tones & breath warm-ups
–  F major scale, finger drills, basic articulation patterns
–  Introduction to ensemble piece (selected based on student level)

🥁 Day 2: Rhythm Rockstars
– Rhythm clap-back challenge (interactive game)
– Long tones with crescendo/decrescendo focus
– G major scale, finger agility drills, tonguing exercises
– Ensemble piece: Review & continue

😎 Day 3: Articulation & Expression
– Quick quiz: "Who Remembers Yesterday's Rhythm?"
– Warm-ups with dynamics: quiet to loud tone control
– B-flat major scale, staccato vs. legato exercises
– Ensemble work: add dynamics & phrasing

🎼 Day 4: Putting It All Together
– Music emoji game ("Guess that feeling!")
– Warm-ups focused on blending tone
– Review all 3 scales, fast articulation drills
– Ensemble work: full run-through

🏆 Day 5: Celebrate & Shine!
– Final long tones with focus on breath support
– Favourite scale review & technique jam
– Final performance of ensemble piece (can be recorded)

– Share musical “wins” from the week
– Recognition & Certificate Ceremony
