Class Experience

Not applicable.
There will be no homework for this class. This class is primarily meant to clarify concepts that students learn in class, and as such, it will be assumed that homework is being given by the students' math instructors while in the classroom.
Students will need plenty of graph paper to practice graphing Quadratic Equations & Inequalities, several pencils (pens are not advised unless they are erasable, since mistakes cannot be corrected except with whiteout), and lined paper for solving Quadratic Equations and Inequalities. Also, if students are able to bring their school textbooks with them to this class, that would be very helpful, since school textbooks can allow me to get a better picture of how instructors are going about teaching this material in their classrooms. A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn are also definitely pluses.
There will be no letter grade given for this class, since it is only meant to clarify what students are learning at their schools; however, a written report will be given at the end of the class detailing how much progress students have made in gaining a better understanding of solving and graphing Quadratic Equations and Inequalities.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
