Some topics in this course, such as religion and war, may be sensitive. These will be presented thoughtfully and from a neutral perspective, ensuring they are age-appropriate for all learners. We approach history's challenges in a way that’s engaging yet respectful. 🌍

Students will need to share their gamer tags privately via direct message to participate. For privacy and safety, gamer tags should not be shared in the classroom chat. Any gamer tag shared in the chat will be removed. 🔒🎮

A basic understanding of English is required. Familiarity with Minecraft is preferred but not required—beginners are welcome!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Teacher Josh McCullough is a fully qualified educator with over 10 years of experience, specializing in history. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and has taught a wide range of subjects to diverse student groups, both in traditional classrooms and through interactive learning experiences like Minecraft. Josh has also completed multiple child protection courses to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students. He is passionate about making history engaging and accessible for learners of all backgrounds!
Teacher Mike is a passionate musician and instructor with over a decade of teaching experience. He holds a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Vocal Performance and Composition, complemented by extensive studies in Music History. He teaches 1 on 1 and group classes in various subjects including Piano, Singing, Music Composition, Music Technology, and Music History. He aims to ignite a sense of wonder and discovery in his students to ensure a life-long love of learning.
Teacher Martin is an experienced educator with a strong background in technology, gaming, working with children of all ages and has a Bachelor's degree in Classical Studies (Ancient History).
