Description

Class Experience

Students will gain knowledge about the U.S. Constitution, the 3 branches of national government and the connection with state and local government, and what it means to be a citizen in this country.
I have more than 15 years experience teaching students to think critically about their roles in society. I have previously taught courses on the topic of civics in America, and I am dedicated to supporting the participation of all people in the U.S. government.
Quizzes to monitor understanding will be given through the Kahoot! app in sessions 2-4. I will be happy to provide feedback on a short reflective paper or presentation on the student's role as a citizen if requested.
