**This one-time class is a wonderful way to preview my ongoing PRE-K and Kindergarten classes.** Calling all animal lovers! In this fun and interactive one-time class, students will focus on literacy, math, science, creative arts, and social skills while learning about pets. We will also share our favorite stuffed or REAL pets.

Class Experience

This one-time class is a wonderful way to preview my ongoing PRE-K and Kindergarten classes. I hope you will join us.

Welcome to Circle Time! Get ready for an interactive learning adventure! 
This one-time class is an extension of my ongoing Circle Time Class. We will focus on Pre-Kindergarten learning objectives through song, exploration, and sharing. Our theme for this class is Pets. Before the class, I will upload fun pre-class (optional) activities. Following class, I will also include...

Through Circle Time, students will develop:

*Literacy skills such as: letter recognition and sounds, listening comprehension and communication.

*Math skills such as: numbers, colors, shapes, size and same-different. 

*Science skills such as: weather and animals.

*Creative Arts such as: drawing, coloring, singing, dancing and movement. 

*Social Skills such as: taking turns, listening, sharing, and communicating.

There is no required homework for this class. I will include optional supplementary materials to reinforce what we learned in class. 
I encourage the students to participate in our theme and scavenger hunt. I’m excited to see what you have to share!

Students are encouraged (but not required) to bring a stuffed (or plastic) pet to share.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
