This ocean-themed Circle Time is designed to help 4 and 5-year-olds practice important vocabulary and skills like counting, identifying letters and sounds, and identifying colors. This Circle Time is also ESL-friendly so English Language Learners are welcome to join in on the fun! In this one-time class, students will practice a few letters of the alphabet, some numbers, counting, and will have the chance to talk about and identify different ocean animals. They will also meet Sammy the Starfish and will get to find where she is hiding. This class is very interactive and there will be lots of games to play together too!
Learning Goals
Students in this ocean-themed circle time will practice taking turns, sharing ideas, and building their vocabulary. They will build their confidence through speaking, sharing, and having fun together.
