Students will identify the parts of the body, including the head, eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. Students will say the letter names and sounds. Students will count objects up to five and identify numbers 0-10.
Students will draw a picture of their face to show the class.
It is recommended that students have their own copy of "I Know Body Parts" by Mary Rose Osburn to follow along during our read-a-loud time.
Assessing learning outcomes will take place through informal assessment through questioning, for example "Point to your head" and "Can you show me something red?".
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
