In this ongoing circle time class, we will practice learning our letters, numbers, days of the week, weather, and more through American Sign Language! We will also have a theme each week and practice signs relating to the theme.

Description
Class Experience
In this circle time, we will go over the weather, days of the week, a color, a shape, a letter of the day, and a number of the day through learning American Sign Language! We will also have a weekly theme and learn one sign around this theme at each circle time. This is a fun class for students to enjoy social time while learning in many different areas. We will meet three times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Your learner does not need any prior knowledge and can come to class...
Learners will build their knowledge about the weather, days of the week, colors, shapes, letters, and numbers through learning American Sign Language!
I studied ASL for three years in high school, receiving a 3.90 grade average in the class and completing ASL Level 3. I now use ASL regularly in my work with children with developmental and learning disabilities in elementary schools. This is an introductory level class where I will be introducing the basic principles and hand-shapes of the ASL alphabet.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
