Beginner Level
Join me for this one-session class and learn the Spanish alphabet! Using the book, "Chica Chica Bum Bum," the Spanish version of the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, we will learn the names and pronunciations of the letters of the alphabet, including variations of some letter sounds depending on region spoken. Students ages 4-9 will learn using literature, songs, and interactive methods. There will be opportunities to participate and speak in the microphone to practice what is being learned. Come and get to know the teacher and other classes in store for the upcoming year. There will be a short introduction about the teacher and my background at the beginning of class, and a time to ask questions at the end of the class.

I have been speaking Spanish for over 25 years, have homeschooled preschool through high school in a bicultural and bilingual home for the past 20 years, and have tutored and taught all ages bilingually in schools and tutoring settings for over 10 years. I have graduated one, and continue to homeschool my other child.
I offer several series of Spanish classes, using familiar translated stories, native Spanish stories, songs, and poems. I teach practical, useable Spanish that can be used right away, and talk about familiar themes interesting to many children.
