Class Experience

Social, communication, fine-motor, gross-motor skills.
Exposure to numbers, letters, words, word recognition, writing, use of manipulatives as learning tools.
Build confidence, curiosity, mental-health balance through games/sharing experiences/thoughts and ideas.
BA(Hons) Design, Postgrad. Cert of Ed., UK.  TEFL.
Currently supply teaching in the local school district of New Brunswick, Canada.
Licensed to teach in P.E.I and N.B., Canada and the UK.
Graduated 1996 - Over the years I have taught across grades and various subjects in local schools in the UK and Canada and private international schools in Singapore.  I've mostly specialized in teaching Art and Design, International Baccalaureate in Singapore. 
Learners can re-use the print resources I've designed specifically for tracing/drawing/pre-writing/writing practice.  They can also extend their learning by reviewing what we have covered as well as through retell.

For each session: * A toy or book of choice for show and tell (optional), otherwise something like a favourite stuffed toy or blanket for comfort. * Have any printables ready-printed (in a sheet-protector if you wish). * Stationery Supply Pack/Box: dry-erase board, worksheet protector for print-outs, selection of coloured dry-erase markers, pencil, eraser, colouring tools (like crayons/ markers), dice and container for it, scrap paper, safety-scissors, glue-stick, playdough, string/yarn, rubber bands. (once this is set up, it will be easy to grab whatever is needed for an activity, just like at school)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance for use of kid's scissors may be required if safety-scissors are not used.  If scissors are required for a particular lesson, it will be indicated in the welcome message for that said lesson.
