Class Experience

This ongoing class will meet twice a week for 30 minutes each meeting. We will all bring one item to show and tell about to our new friends to practice socializing, confidence in speaking, and meeting new people. Your learner can bring anything they'd like for our show and tell as long as it is appropriate for class and the age group.

We will all begin the lesson together and go over our rules.
Each student will have a turn to talk and we will practice listening to each other, asking questions, and learning basic conversation skills. We will also work on the simple Zoom features, such as muting your microphone, unmuting, and joining break-out rooms. After every student presents, we will breakout into groups of 2 or 3 for more one-on-one conversation and play in which students will talk amongst themselves.

Each week, there will also be coloring pages available for print for your learner to work on after class if they'd like.
