NEW SECTION STARTS 2/7 👩🏫Come learn with a certified elementary teacher! 🥳It's a circle time party in this ongoing class! You are welcome to start and stop at any time! Each day will be full of songs, discussions, activities, and games. Each class consists of a handout packet including a bonus practice handout. I am very energetic and use a sensory learning approach throughout my lessons. In other words, I try to incorporate as many senses as possible in each lesson, helping them to recall and remember what they learned that day. My classes are tons of fun! This helps to keep them engaged and build a healthy and positive love of learning early on. 😎 (5-8 minutes) We will begin each day with the Days of the Week, and Months of the Year song. We will discuss the calendar, and the weather that day. Since everyone will be in a different location, this gives us a perfect opportunity to discuss different learner's hometown weather. Then each learner will chart their own hometown's weather on an original printable, and a class favorite: Dress Mr. Bear. 😊 (17-20 minutes) Each week will consist of a letter/sound, writing practice, 1-2 sight words, a math concept, Show & Tell, and a fun science lesson. I have found this to be the perfect time to engage this age group while keeping their focus. 🖨️Each week you will be provided with a class packet full of original printables that go along with the lesson. Each week you are provided with a "bonus" practice sheet. This is optional but encouraged. If you are not able to print, please message me. I have options so every learner can participate. 1️⃣Day 1: I will introduce our letter of the week, and 1-2 sight words. We will practice identifying the letters and letter sounds and writing the uppercase and lower-case letters and sight words. We will do this by participating in a visual slide presentation, playing hands-on games to stay moving, and utilizing original hand-outs to practice and create. 2️⃣Day 2: We will complete a craft or activity with our weekly letter and introduce our math skill. In math, we will focus on pre-school math concepts, such as shapes, counting, beginner equations, and patterns. 3️⃣Day 3: Review, Show & Tell, and a fun SCIENCE lesson. At least 4 weeks of lessons are posted below. The classes do not build, so feel free to jump in at any time. Each month we will have new themes. Themes will consist of months, seasons, holidays, and more fun stuff. Feel free to take a week off, and rejoin us. If you are regular student, and class is full when you try to rejoin, please message me. Mute: My classes are very interactive, so I prefer to keep children off mute when possible. There are times I may have to utilize the mute function, as a lot of background noise makes it hard for me and other learners to hear. If so, no worries. They can remove it to speak. Parents, feel free to use mute, as needed. Please remember to teach your littles to take themselves off of mute, as I cannot do this through Zoom. Raising Hands: My one special rule is to raise your hand to speak. I have a couple ways that I make this really fun, and they all seem to do it quite well. No worries if they are still working on this. School is for teaching, and I will teach it to them in a fun way. Refunds: I follow Outschool's Limited Refund Policy. This can be viewed on their website.
