Each class will follow this format and no prior experience is needed to join our class. Imagine yourself sitting on the carpet in my classroom for circle time but from the comfort of your own home. I am currently a preK teacher and have years of experience teaching kindergarten and first grade. Parents often describe me as loving, patient and knowledgeable. I also use puppetry to teach social skills so you may see a puppet or two join our class! 1. Introductions, Welcome Song 2. Puppetry 3. Letter of the week 4. Drawing activity that corresponds with letter of the week 5. Read Aloud 6. Goodbye song Topics will include: Counting forwards and backwards Social and emotional skills Estimating Identifying letters and beginning sounds Age appropriate read-alouds with comprehension questions Rhyming words
Learning Goals
Students will be encouraged to participate through speaking, thumbs up, singing, or however they feel comfortable. My classroom is always welcoming and inclusive to all learners. We will sing songs, read books, draw, chat, and have so much fun together!

Hi there! I have had the pleasure of teaching preK, kindergarten, and first grade over the last 8 years. I will be providing classes to ages 4-7 in reading, phonics, math, and writing. I also love to teach science through experiments and math through baking!
I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Texas Christian University in 2013. I am currently teaching at a play and nature based NAEYC accredited school where nature and nurture come together to offer excellence in early childhood education.
I love to make learning FUN and hands on! We learn through play, songs, and meaningful experiences. I am very patient, gentle, and kind but also set clear expectations and my students learn and perform.
