Description

Class Experience

I have been dancing since I was three, and I have taken ballet the entire time. I've also helped teach dance classes for 1 and a half years. I have been trained in a pre-professional program that stresses technique and safety. I know the correct way to perform and teach exercises to ensure the least risk possible.
Students are expected to practice their dance and memorize it as much as possible.
Water bottle Space to move around (at least 4x4 foot square) A chair to use as a barre Appropriate footwear (barefoot, socks, or ballet shoes) Tight-fitting clothes: a leotard and tights isn’t required, but you must wear leggings or shorts (no baggy pants), a form-fitted shirt, and have your hair out of your face. Optional costume for our performance
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Because this is a fitness class, students will need enough room to move around without injuring themselves. We will always do a warm-up and stretch before beginning, but it's important to be aware that inadequate stretching can lead to injuries. It is advisable for dancers to be barefoot to avoid slipping, and they may need a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Note: if your student needs any accommodations for physical or mental needs, I am able and willing to accommodate and modify if I can! Just let me know your needs beforehand.

Important: parents are allowed to watch their student dance during our performance, but per Outschool policy, please remain off camera.
