Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will have some wintertime fun with Christmas and winter-themed math and reading activities.  We will practice literacy by reading winter vocabulary words, labeling a snowman, playing a rhyming game, and reading about making a snowman.  Some math activities include ordering numbers with before/after, missing addends, and playing a hands-on subtraction game using a ten frame. Students in Kindergarten-2nd grade will strengthen literacy and math skills with winter-themed activities.

pencil and crayon or marker, OR small dry erase board, dry erase marker, and eraser

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
