Hello Outschool,
My name is Teacher LaMeEl Doss. I have a B.A. in Communications and an M.S. in Marketing and I hold a TESOL certification. I am a small business owner too. I have years of teaching experience. I have taught public speaking (grades 7-12), art (all ages), and creative writing (ages 4-18) in a school setting for 10 years.
I have taught business courses (grades 7-12) for 4 years. I have also taught a few summer courses over the years on business and marketing to middle schoolers and high schoolers. I have been teaching home school for over 12 years. Currently, for the past 3 years, I have been teaching ESL online to both adults and children.
I own a business called The Hair Bow Box. I will incorporate bow making in one of the classes that I offer. I will also teach your child how to start a business whether it is a bow making business or something else that they are interested in.
I am also the owner of Painting and Crafts an art studio that provides paint and craft kits for both children and adults.
Teaching children is my passion because they are our future and any way that I can contribute to helping them advance I am all for it. My teaching philosophy is to make learning fun. When learning becomes fun children do not necessarily feel like they are being lectured because they can enjoy what they are doing and learning. I look forward to becoming your child’s teacher.
