Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to calm themselves with a breathing exercise, to relax while stretching, and to think more positively about themselves.
I am an elementary school teacher certified as an adult and children's yoga instructor.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should have a large clean open workout area for this class. Students need be barefoot to safely practice yoga and need to bring a water bottle to class. Students are welcome to bring a yoga mat to class but it is not necessary. Students should be monitored by a parent during class to make sure they are feeling well and to insure students safely practice the poses to keep injuries such as hyperextension, dizziness, or pulled muscles from happening. I highly suggest students have a snack at least an hour before class begins to make sure their bodies are fueled for exercise. By signing up and paying for this class you understand that you can not hold Outschool or Mrs. Kortnee liable for any injuries that may occur due to taking this class.
