Christmas Story Time Learning & Musical Adventure With Mrs. Claus
Who says learning can't be fun? Come join us in class as we gear up for the holidays. Mrs. Claus will read a holiday story followed by questions to check comprehension. Students will also be invited to participate in a holiday song.

Students will be greeted by Mrs. Claus dressed in her favorite holiday costume and invited to participate in a fun holiday song to get ready for class. Mrs. Claus will then read a story pausing throughout the story to ask questions and check student comprehension. At the end of the lesson, students will be invited to participate in another holiday song. 1. Students will learn about the title, author, and illustrator of a book. 2. Students will learn to listen carefully to a story and answer questions. 2. Students will increase their understanding of both letters and sounds. 4., Students will practice counting. 5. Students will compare numbers to find the number that is greater or less than the other one.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
